This really is a fox.

The rain ended, it got sunnier, and I practiced manual focus with squirrels, and bird nest in our wooden siding, and flowers.  While grilling last night, the Nikon was out and ready...... and no fox.

When dinner started, it was almost 8 PM, the light was fading, and I knew the Nikon would not do, so I had my phone (Pixel 2) at the ready.  The fox again appeared at the back of the yard, ran into the garden and the raspberries.  I whipped out the phone, and was ready when the fox came out.  Instead of coming closer, the fox retreated, but not before I got these pictures.

Tonight, I will also have the Olympus Tough, which has an optical zoom, and low light capabilities midway between the Nikon and Pixel 2.
