Hawk in the backy yard trees
Early morning. First two in the dogwood in full sun, and the last two in partial sun in the apricot left up for the wood peckers and hawks.

Fall Foliage and the Bird Feeder
The hawk in the first two pictures was a cloudy day, taken through the window with a screen. The hawk might be feeding on a small bird at his feet. If so, the first time we have seen that at the feeder.
The other pictures show how much better a sunny day is, and the red berries from the dogwoods.
Our latest bird seed has a woodpecker picture on the package, and we have been getting many more woodpeckers as a result. Now we want the male and female (no red behind the head) in the same picture.
